When to Book Your Newborn Photography Session?
It is best to book your newborn photography session while still pregnant, I also offer maternity photography as well if you wanted a complete bump to baby photography package. (I recommend booking when you are 14-20 weeks pregnant) to secure a studio session in plenty of time. My newborn sessions get fully booked as I only take a limited number of newborn photoshoots each month to allow for flexibility with early or late births.
How do I get those beautiful newborn sleeping photos?
It’s imperative that we see you and your baby in our Worcester photography studio just after your baby is born. Our newborn photo sessions can last between 3-4 hours depending on your babies cooperation! I allow plenty of time so the session is never rushed and we place your comfort and your newborn babies safety above all.
Why does it take so long to photograph a newborn?
Newborns are individuals just like you and I and they all have their own characteristics, needs and want’s! We always go with the mood of the baby and don’t dictate how much time we should give them and we just go with the flow and give your baby everything they need to make them comfortable and allow your photo session to have its natural flow.

When you arrive at our Worcester Studio there is plenty of parking right outside so you can bring everything you need with you and have no problem unloading it safely into the studio. We recommend that we start by feeding and changing your baby if required and settling into the studio environment before we start the photo session. I have vast experience with newborns and I recommend that you sit back and relax while your newborn shoot takes place in front of you.
After Your Newborn Photography Session
I set to work on editing and post-production, newborns quite often have flakey skin, irregular colour patches on their skin and other little imperfections that I retouch to make the baby look their best. Once the photos are edited you can choose which are your favourites and if you would like any framed prints or an album or other wall and display products that we offer.
